A rich musical autumn

After the end of the extremely successful Summer Music Academy in Kroměříž, Tomáš immediately jumped into preparations for a new, very rich concert season.

He will open it with a pair of September concerts with the Essen Philharmonic and violinist Frank Peter Zimmermann. Two new opera productions will follow: at the Aalto Musiktheater Essen Tomáš will conduct Wagner’s Tannhäuser and at the Grand Theatre of Geneva he will conduct Janáček’s Katya Kabanova, with which he will also be guest conducting in the Czech Republic as part of the Janáček Brno Festival. At the head of the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, he will perform in Brno and Geneva not only with Katya Kabanova, but also in concerts with the excellent violinist Viktoria Mullova. The turn of November and December will be spent in Japan in concerts with the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra.
