Season 2026/27

Tomáš continues in his role as Chief Conductor of the Prague Symphony Orchestra with joy and infectious energy. He will kick off the new season with gala concerts on 7 and 8 October in the magnificent Smetana Hall at the Municipal House, and will go on to lead the orchestra through a wide range of programmes and projects, including a tour of Japan and a series of subscription and special concerts. In the new season, he will also return to Oper Köln with The Bartered Bride, take the podium with the San Francisco Symphony, the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestre National de Lyon and the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, and appear at the Janáček Brno Festival with the ORF Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, performing both a symphonic programme and the opera The Cunning Little Vixen. This season, Tomáš is once again combining his exceptional opera career with an extensive international symphonic programme. He is also continuing his successful work in the field of early music through concerts and recordings with the ambitious SILENTIUM! ensemble, with whom he will appear at the Concentus Moraviae and Hudba Znojmo festivals.
